The family business Van Mossel exists 77 and has grown into the largest car company in the Benelux. As a leading company, we take our responsibility when it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility. In the Sustainability Report, we look back at the sustainable results of our conduct and look ahead to the sustainable steps we will take in the coming years. As the largest automotive company in the Benelux, Van Mossel Automotive Group actively acts on sustainability developments within all our branches.

Our vision
Driven. By you. For you. This slogan refers to our mission to provide mobility solutions for both corporate and private customers. In doing so, the customer is always the focus. Sustainability is one of our core values. This is twofold: on the one hand, we strive for as much sustainability as possible within our own operational activities; and on the other hand, we offer our customers sustainable mobility solutions.
Our mission
For our customers, we want to be the mobility partner and adviser who is socially involved, an authority in the field of mobility and fully up to date with the very latest developments in the field of legislation and regulations on making fleets more sustainable and what this entails.

People
Healthy together
The mental and physical health of our employees go hand in hand. Both aspects affect the performance of our employees and thus, as Van Mossel, we want to contribute to their 'total health'. For this purpose, principles and rules from the personnel manual are used that ensure a basic level of health. In addition, there are several ongoing initiatives. In monthly meetings, the absenteeism rate is discussed and reasons for absence are analysed in more detail. Van Mossel offers employees the chance to work on their own physical fitness with a discount on a fitness subscription. In addition, we promote an attractive bicycle leasing plan for our employees to keep moving.

In the Sustainability Report, we look back on the sustainable results of our actions and ahead to the sustainable steps we will take in the coming years. As the largest automotive company in the Benelux, Van Mossel Automotive Group is actively developing its sustainability within all of its branches.

Low-emission mobility
Mobility accounts for much of the world's greenhouse gas emissions. On the one hand, as a sales and leasing company, we have limited influence when it comes to the environmental performance of cars. On the other hand, we are aware of the contribution we can make ourselves in our advisory and facilitative role. By increasing and promoting the supply of low-emission vehicles, we can accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility.

Environment
- Van Mossel is actively working on saving energy, such as through the use of LED lighting and motion sensors.
- Within various business units, there is a focus on separating waste streams and reusing parts.
- Van Mossel has the Dutch 'Erkend Duurzaam Plus' (Approved Sustainable Plus) certification.
- Van Mossel's damage repair companies are ISO 14001 certified and a number of business units have ISO 9001 certification. In addition, the Belgian bodywork company works under the Belgian 'Duurzaam Repareren' (Sustainable Repair) label. Dutch leasing company ICLH holds a bronze medal from Ecovadis.
Committed business
Van Mossel pays close attention to the well-being of employees by providing good working conditions and future prospects.
- The headquarters and logistics centre in Waalwijk received the BREEAM-NL certificate 'very good' due to the application of sustainable installations and facilities.
- Van Mossel communicates transparently about its ESG policies and initiatives.
- Sponsoring and supporting charities is in our DNA and, among others, we contribute to EMMAUS, Villa Pardoes, Kika and Alpe d'Huzes.
Mobility Solutions
In addition to selling, servicing and repairing passenger cars and commercial vehicles, Van Mossel offers various forms of service which contribute to sustainability:
- Fleet scan and fuel/CO2 reporting.
- Providing trip recording systems that also offer insight into driving behaviour and fuel consumption.
- Our Van Mossel Energy branch is engaged in the infrastructure for electric vehicles, such as charging stations, charging passes and consulting.
- Business bike lease that employers can offer to their employees.
- With Van Mossel Mobility, employers can offer optimal flexibility in mobility to their employees, including public transport, shared cars and shared bikes.
